Dorothy Ann Keating's Obituary
Dorothy Ann “Dee” Keating ,78, passed away on May 31, 2025, at the Pleasant View Healthcare Center in Mount Airy, MD. She was the life partner and widow of Robert G. “Bob” Keating Sr. They shared over 40 years together.
Born in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of Leo H. Gleasner II and the former Dorothy Ann Jablonski. As an Army Brat, Dee and her family lived throughout the US and the world. She earned her GED and attended classes for credit at the University of Delaware. Dee worked as a Custodian at the University of Delaware scrubbing floors to put her daughter through college, but that is another story...
She was a Parrot Head who enjoyed taking road trips, going to the beach, watching Matt Avery at Conch Island, living it up at Harrington Raceway & Casino with her friend, Marcia, and visiting J&P’s in Mount Airy for outdoor dining with her daughter and grand-dog. She will be remembered for her feistiness and snappy comebacks.
Dee is survived by her daughter, Tina Hahn, family friend, Eric Kindahl, and grand-dog, Dany.
She was predeceased by her life partner Robert G. “Bob” Keating Sr., her parents, Leo H. Gleasner II, and the former Dorothy Ann Jablonski, and her siblings brother Leo H. Gleasner III, brother Michael Gleasner, brother John F. Gleasner, and sister Carol Bailey.
