Dorothy M. Harrison's Obituary
Dorothy (Dottie) Marcelene Harrison-Bickling, 56, passed away on October 2, 2024, in Baltimore, Maryland after a long battle with Breast Cancer. Throughout her battle, Dottie was strong and very courageous to the very end.
Dottie was born on December 28, 1967. She attended Lewistown Elementary and graduated from Walkersville High School. Throughout her life, she found joy in activities such as playing BINGO, visiting casinos, making deliveries with her daughter Amanda and cherishing moments with her grandchildren.
Dottie leaves behind a loving family: her husband Marvin Bickling; daughter Amanda Issette; sons Tim Issette (Brittany) and Nick Cann; mother Ruth Marie Pyles and stepfather Donald E. Pyles; brother Jimmy Bartholow, Jr; sisters Candy Fike (Scott), Hope Showe (Mike), and Denise Allgegier. Dottie was a devoted grandmother to Brooklyn, Hailey, Isabella, and Hayden. She was preceded in death by her father James William Bartholow, Sr., and her son Wade Anthony Harrison.
A service to honor Dottie's life will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made directly to Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
