I am saddened to learn of the passing of Doris. She was full of life, fun to be around, and spoke her mind. She was the type of person who would do anything for anyone. I hope you all hold onto the wonderful memories you have created with her over your lifetime and that they bring you comfort during this most challenging time.
I am so sorry for your lose. Sandra and I was best friends in school and I would spend many night and days at her house. Doris was very nice to me and would do anything for me. She would take Sandra and I anywhere we wanted to go. If you need anything please let me know.
Doris Mercer was a wonderful lady to work with, I am a coworker from the Frederick County Health Department. Doris loved her community and I always felt she knew everybody in it. Everywhere I went with her she would run into someone she knew and she always took the time to talk with them.She was always so much fun to work with, I remember working at the Great Frederick Fair doing outreach with her for immunization and Children's Health insurance programs. She had such a big heart I am so sorry and sad to hear of her passing.
