Doreen Eaton's Obituary
Doreen Eaton, age 95, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away peacefully at Autumn Lake at Glade Valley in Walkersville, MD. She was born on September 2, 1930, in East Yorkshire, England, Doreen to the late Walter Creaser and Ivy Lawson.
She proudly served as a nurse in the Royal Air Force before moving to the United States, where she married Robert Eaton of Thurmont, MD, on October 13, 1954.
Doreen worked for many years at the National Geographic Society, where she was known for her dedication and professionalism. She was also an active member of the AmVets Auxiliary and enjoyed gardening and crafting in her free time.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Margaret Creaser and many loving nieces and nephews.
Doreen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Eaton; her parents; her siblings Alan Creaser (Janet), Brian Creaser, and Barbara Rodgers (Malcolm); and her in-laws Ira Eaton Jr. (Janice Wilhide), Dorothy Beard (Wilfred), Doris Jones (Calvin), and Lucille Danner (William Sr.).
