Obituary
Of Jefferson, MD passed away in Chesapeake, VA on Sunday, February 15, 2015. Donna was born in Ross, Ohio to Benjamin F. and Georgia Mae Stumbo on the 16th of August in 1934. She was preceded in death by her husband Dwight E. Moss, son Dwight Ronald Moss, grandson Dwight Ronald Moss, II; brothers Fred, Bob and Greenville Stumbo; sisters Jessie Neff, Darlene Richendollar, Hanna Bixler, Josephine Hardman, and Nan Basye.She is survived by her husband Frederick George; four children, Sonya Summers, Christine Devers, Daniel Moss and Jarrid Moss; three sisters, Junie Lambert, Janice Woods, and Pitter Crites; as well as her beloved 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.Donna worked for the Frederick County Public School system for 25 years and enjoyed helping and teaching young children. She was as an active member at First Church of the Nazarene.Being a woman who was very strong in her faith, she was always loyal, loving and giving. Donna had a love for life, adventure and the outdoors. Her second home was in Chincoteague, where she spent many days enjoying the beach, sunrises, and listening to the birds. Donna touched many lives and will be missed by all. We are at peace knowing she is with the Lord. Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday February 20, 2015 at the Chapel Mausoleum of Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway (U.S. Rt. 15N) in Frederick, MD.
