Obituary
Donna Louise Fisher, aged 68, departed this life peacefully in her sleep on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 3:30AM after an extended illness. She was comforted by her children and other family members in her final hours, and was under the care of the Kline Hospice House in Mount Airy, Maryland. Donna was born on March 21, 1947 in Baltimore, the first child of Donald Wells Fisher and Doris Redman Fisher, nee Laughlin. She was a graduate of Dulaney High School in Timonium, Maryland and attended Stetson University in Deland, Florida. Most recently she resided in Frederick, Maryland. Donna was a talented graphic artist and was employed by the Carroll County Times and the Frederick News Post, as well as other independent studios. For a number of years her work has been seen in widely distributed publications, such as Fishing & Hunting Journal, Maryland Hunting Quarterly magazine, and Maryland Loves Crabs magazine, where she served as Creative Director. Donna is survived by her son Brian Ebaugh and his companion Danielle Black of Wrightsville, Pennsylvania, daughter-in-law Ana Ebaugh of Towson, Maryland, daughter and son-in-law Laura Rigsby and Eric Rigsby of Frederick, Maryland, brother and sister-in-law Douglas Fisher and Doris Fisher of Hampstead, Maryland, granddaughters Nicole Ebaugh and Victoria Ebaugh of Towson, Maryland, and grandson Austin Rigsby of Frederick, Maryland. Also surviving are nephews Jordan Fisher and Ethan Fisher, niece Sarah Fisher, her dear friend Allan Ellis, and her beloved boston terrier Sophie. A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00AM on Wednesday, October 14 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Hwy, Frederick, Maryland, 21701, followed by a memorial service at 11:00AM.
