Don Messier's Obituary
Donald "Don" Messier, born on June 28, 1950, gracefully departed this world on April 14, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. He was born to the late Daniel and Dorris Messier.
Don was the adoring husband of Jill Messier for many wonderful years and together they shared a life filled with love and companionship. He was the devoted father of Danielle Messier and Christopher Messier, and a doting grandfather to his beloved grandson, Gray Czarnecki.
Don will be fondly remembered as a loving and humorous man who found joy in the beauty of nature. His passion for the outdoors was a reflection of his vibrant spirit and zest for life. For many years, Don served as a dedicated wholesale parts manager for a prominent auto company, where he made a lasting impact in his profession.
He is survived by his older brother Lawrence and wife Carol Messier, younger brother Edward and wife Andrea Messier, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Don had a special bond with his grandson Gray, whom he adored deeply.
Don, who was an avid frisbee golf player, enjoyed spending time on the course with his childhood friend Jerry Jeffers. He retired from Bill Kidds Toyota in 2015 after a successful career.
A crab feast in celebration of Don's remarkable life will be held at the Monocacy Village Park, on June 29th, 2024, from 2pm to 5pm, 409 Delaware Rd Frederick, MD 21701.
