Dolores Ann Maxwell, 81, of Frederick died Friday, January 12, 2018 at Northampton Manor Health Care. Born April 9, 1936 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Evelyn Divine. From 1981-84, she owned and operated Secretarial Services on Patrick Street in downtown Frederick. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, where she volunteered with Catholic Charities. Dolores enjoyed bowling in earlier years, and most recently worked at Roy Rogers. She is survived by two daughters, Karen Baker and husband, Patrick, of Woodsboro, and Ellen Hoffman and husband, Ray, of Rutledge, TN; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three sons, Daniel, Michael, and Thomas Maxwell; her brother, John; her sister, Marie; and a grandchild, Kristen. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Ave., Walkersville, where a memorial service will begin at 11.
