Obituary
Delores A. (Butchie) Harris of Libertytown, MD went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 after a short illness. She had been a resident at Glade Valley Nursing Center in Walkersville, MD. Born on December 26, 1946 in Mt. Pleasant MD, she was she was the daughter of the late George & Alice Bowins. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 54 years, Bruce M. Harris of Libertytown, her sister, Mary Roberts (Bernard), brother David T. Bowins (Donna), son Dwayne A. Bowins (Marcelle), stepson, Quentin Jackson (Shirley), three grandchildren Anthony, Teressa & Dante, and three great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law, Judy Bowins and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Devoted brother-in-law Carlwell Harris, special niece, Sheila (Petie) Bowins, daughters-in-law Donna Bowins (Feachie), Jodi Parker-Harris and special friends Denny and Sandy Duvall. Ms. Harris was a graduate of Walkersville High School. She worked at NSG Datacom/Frederick Electronics for over 30 years until she retired in 2008. She loved spending time with family & friends and loved playing bingo. She was predeceased by her son, Bruce P. Harris, brother, Donald Bowins and sister, Georgina Whiten. Services will be held on Monday, July 31th at 11am at Hartzler Funeral Home, 11802 Liberty Road, Libertytown. Viewing on Monday from 9-11 am and Family will receive friends from 10-11 am. Interment immediately following in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
