David Andrew Law, 54, of Frederick, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 18, 2023. He was the loving husband of Christina Law, and the devoted father of Katelyn Elizabeth Law. Born July 2, 1969 in Newar Read Obituary
I met Dave in college and knew him when he lived in Baltimore- my sister and I were friends of his girlfriend. Not everyone bothers to get along with their girlfriend's friends but Dave was always exceptionally gentlemanly and kind to us. In college, at bars and parties, he kept an eye out for us and made sure we all got home safely. When I was laid-off from my first real job a few days before we were all going on a trip to the beach, he gave me and my sister a ride because the old car we shared would not have made it that far. During the trip, I remember him asking me about the lay-off, to give me a chance to vent and be listened to. Dave was one of the kindest, most thoughtful people I've ever known. Please accept my sincerest condolences to his family and loved ones.

I have many fond memories of spending time with David as we rode our bicycles up long climbs in the area. He was a joy on and off the bike, and I will miss his friendship, amiable nature, camaraderie, and competitive spirit. Ride on my friend. I'm glad we had the chance to turn the pedals together.
I had the pleasure to cycle with David on many occasions. We shared many great laughs and he would always be focused on getting home on time to be with his family. His memory will always live on inside me. Peace.
