David John Langowski's Obituary
Obituary
David John Langowski, 62, of Frederick, passed away on August 21, 2018. He was the loving husband of his wife, Patricia, for 42 years. Born January 6, 1956 as the fourth of ten children to Margaret Misialek-Langowski and the late Harold Langowski, David was the first baby born in the state of North Dakota that year. David enlisted in the United States Army during his Senior year at Mt. Iron High School in Mt. Iron, MN, where in September of 2017 he was inducted into the school's football hall of fame. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who was an avid Minnesota Viking and NASCAR fan. During his military service time he was an Electronics Technician and later retired from the Department of the Army at Ft. Detrick, MD in 2015. In addition to his wife and mother, David is survived by his daughters; Lara Miller and husband Nathan, and Susan Garris. Grandchildren; Cara, Hunter, Marissa, Jessie, and Cheyenne. And great-grandson, Cameron. Brothers; Harold Langowski and wife Sue, Carl Langowski, Tim Langowski and wife Deb, and Jim Langowski and wife Char. Sisters; Mary Stodola and husband Bill, Linda Grams and husband Bob, Patti Fenda and husband Rich, Marti Godwin and husband Larry, and Carrie Dillard and husband Ronan. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by grandparents; Ambrose and Gertrude Langowski, and Edward and Genevieve Lee. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 26th from 2-3 PM at the Historical Chapel at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway, Frederick where a service will be held on Monday, August 27th at 1 PM.
