Daniel Bruce Leaman
September 23, 1966 – October 14, 2022
Danny passed away peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones at his home.
He is survived by his wife Kate and his children Amanda Schmidlin (Mike), Paige Hutchins (Nick), Joey Schmidlin (Saylor), Ashley Hendricks and Vince Leaman. His loving mother Charlotte Lee Browning (Chet) and loving mother-in-law Ruth Mary Quinter. His brother Raymond Howard Leaman (Debra) and sister Rebecca Lynn Seekford (Kirk). He was the proud and doting Pap-Pap to his grandchildren Isabella, Austin, Peyton, Nora, and Evan. An abundance of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws that will forever hold a special place in their hearts for Danny.
Preceded in death by his father, Robert Bruce Leaman and his father-in-law, William Keyes Quinter. Many special family members preceded his death but special to Danny was the heart of his young nephew Gino Salvatore Pizzi.
He was diagnosed with cancer in 2016 and fought hard and never gave up hope. He was a skilled carpenter and could fix anything. He enjoyed flipping houses and any challenges working with wood to make things perfect. He was anonymously generous with his time and money, lending a hand whenever needed with no expectations. You could always count on Danny for a fun day out on his boat or just throwing a rod in the water. He spent his free time restoring and cruising in his classic cars. He enjoyed being at the beach with family and hanging out with the guys. He touched many hearts with his genuine love and made such a difference to those who were blessed to have him as a part of their life. He will be missed and was taken from us much too soon.
Danny’s wife would like to thank everyone for all the love and support bestowed upon him during his illness.
