Clarence Allen Coats, Jr., 63, of Frederick passed away on Saturday, June 18th surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Teresa Coats for 37 years. Born on October 9, 1952 in Michigan to the late Clarence Allen Coats, Sr. and Lois Joyce Jackson. Clarence was a long time dispatcher with 40 West Autocare and Towing in Frederick. He was known as a selfless, big hearted man who would do anything for anyone at any time. He loved television especially the BBC network, wrestling, and old westerns. One of his greatest joys was "tinkering" with anything he could get his hands on. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters; April, and Christina and boyfriend Jamie. His grand fur baby Peanut. Brothers; Neil Coats and wife Debra Jean and Harold Coats and fiancAC. Patty Turner. Sisters; Debra Ann Beard and husband Rick and Diane Coats Ketterman and significant other Patrick. And many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21st from 2-3 PM where a service will begin at 3 PM at the Historical Chapel at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway, Frederick. Interment will follow in the Garden of Devotion at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Frederick County at http://www.hospiceoffrederick.org/donate.
