I just learned today Chris died in August, and I am heart broken. I thought it strange my phone calls, E-mails and cards were not answered. Then today a Christmas card I sent to her came back, and I did some investigating. As Freshmen at Vermont College we met in the campus infirmary in September and became fast friends. I have fond memories and wonderful pictures of our times together which began in 1962 and has lasted all these years. Today I am sad for her family and friends, but knowing Chris is finally at peace brings me some solace.

It is with a heavy heart that I am reading this. My sincere condolences on the loss of your beautiful mother and my friend. Chris and I met on the Naval base and we were groupies for the Fran Donnelly band. Fran also worked with us. We traveled to places in RI that were unknown to us. Got lost, witnessed things that were illegal and had many laughs. We exchanged Christmas cards every year and chatted on FB. Fly high with the angels my dear friend and teach them our dance. Craig & Stacy, I am so very sorry for the loss of your Mom. I just found out today. I used to work with Chris at AlliedSignal in E. Providence. She was a great friend. A few of us used to meet up with Chris for dinner for years. Craig you went to school with my brother-in-law Doug DeAmaral (he lives in Vermont now). Doug's Mom passed away July 26th this year too. I always exchanged Christmas cards with Chris. In the earlier years, I remember her sending a write up with her Christmas card talking about herself, her kids and grand-children. I'm so sorry. I'll keep all of you and Chris in my prayers. Chris was a wonderful person and friend. I am very sad to hear of her passing.

Dear Craig and family, I have been trying for weeks to reach your Mom and unfortunately stumbled upon this page today and I can’t tell you how very sorry I am to see this. At least now I know now why I can’t get ahold of her. I know the last time we talked I didn’t think she was doing too well. I am so very very sorry. I have lost a good friend. We met when she worked at Edward’s & Angel fifty-one years ago and we always kept in touch over the years. I went to your home in Rehoboth many times, I don’t know what to say Craig, I am so very sorry for you and your family. Tonight I go to bed knowing I have lost a good friend.
