Charles Donald Orrison's Obituary
Charles Donald Orrison, 55, of Cresson, PA passed away unexpectedly at home on February 2. 2023. He was the life partner of Karen Eberhart.
Born August 2, 1967 in Frederick, Maryland, Charles was the son of R. Donald Orrison of Middletown, MD and the late Nancy C. Orrison, and stepson of Gloria Orrison of Middletown. He is also survived by his brother, Andrew Wesley Orrison; his stepsister, Robin Rawlings; his stepbrother, Shane Caporaletti; his aunts, Michelle Cook and Geri Kaylor; his uncles David Kaylor and Richard Hillman; and numerous cousins and other relatives.
Charles graduated from Gov. Thomas Johnson High School in 1985 and earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from Towson State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science from University of Southern California. He was a Chief Software Architect for SpaceX, and he loved fast cars (particularly Mustangs) and cooking.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home & Community Center, 9501 B Catoctin Mountain Hwy. in Frederick, where a funeral service will begin at 12:00 Noon on Thursday. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Please sign the guest book at www.resthaven.us.
