Charles William Netch's Obituary
Charles William Netch, age 102, passed away on February 14, 2026 at Homewood Living in Frederick, Maryland. He was born on March 23, 1923 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Charles A. Netch and the late Evelyn E. Keisel.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary E. Netch, whom he was married to for 68 years. He is survived by his daughters, C. Lynn Mills of Belton, TX, and Nancy E. White and her husband Doug of Germantown, MD. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Kevin, Chris, Michael, Corey, Michelle, Eric, Matthew and Daniel, their spouses, nine great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
Charles lived a long and meaningful life marked by devotion to his family, a gentle spirit, and a good sense of humor that never left him. He was known for taking daily walks, something he often credited as the secret to living such a long and full life. He was an accomplished woodworker, having created many pieces of furniture.
A celebration of life will be held on February 28, 2026 at 10:00 am, in the Chapel at Homewood Living, in Frederick, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fredrick Hospice, 1 Frederick Health Way, Frederick, MD 21701, in memory of Charles Netch.
