Charles Woodrow Munday's Obituary
Charles Woodrow Munday Sr., 89, of Jefferson, MD, passed away from this life on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. He was a beloved father to his children. He leaves behind his beloved wife Donna Munday of 20 years.
Born on June 1st, 1936, in Leesburg, VA, he was the son of late Lillie (Painter) Munday & Turner Munday.
Charles raised his family and retired from Montgomery County, MD Liquor Control. Charles had a passion for old & classic muscle cars. He enjoyed his retirement time with his family and pets. Charles loved bowling and belonged to a league at Fair Lanes in his younger years. Charles loved fixing things. He loved to work on cars and mowers in his prime.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Barbara Sneathen (Kevin) of Florida and his sons Tracy Munday of Colorado Springs, CO, Charles Munday Jr. (Angie) Sabillasville, MD, Warren Munday Sr. (Maryanne) Martinsburg, WV, Robert Dove (Cheryl) Brunswick MD, Brian Munday Sr. (Brenda) Jefferson, MD. Charles is survived by many grandsons, granddaughters & great grandchildren. Charles is preceded in death of his brothers Walter, Donald, & Stan Munday Sr.
Pallbearers include Brian Munday Sr., Brian Munday Jr., Robert Dove, Warren Munday Sr., Warren Munday Jr., Matthew Munday & Joshua Munday.
The family will receive family & friends at Resthaven Memorial Gardens 9501 Catoctin Mountain Hwy Frederick, MD 21701 on January 22nd @ 10am for the viewing and 11am for the service with a graveside service to follow.
Charles will be deeply missed.
