Charles Tayloe Green Sr's Obituary
Mr. Charles Tayloe Green, Sr. 48 of Adamstown, MD, passed away Friday, July 21,2023. Charles was born in Washington, DC on January 22, 1975 and was the beloved son of Philip Starr Green, Jr. and Betty Joan (Forquer) Green of Adamstown, MD. He graduated from Frederick High School in 1993. After graduation Charles joined company A of the Maryland National Guard. After basic and advanced training Charles returned to Frederick and began his career as a plumber.
In addition to his parents, Charles is survived by his son Charles (Chuck) Tayloe Green Jr. of Adamstown and daughter Allison Starr Green of Baltimore. He also leaves behind siblings Sharon Fay Green of Frederick, Patricia Lynn Crummitt of Elloree, SC and William Philip Green (Rose) of Frederick, nephew Richard Lee Crummitt and niece Mikayla Jane Green. Also left behind are 2 great-nephews, 1 great-niece, aunts, uncles and cousins. He will also be remembered by his companion Shannon Bennett.
Charles is preceded in death by sister Dorothy Lynn Green, paternal grandparents Philip Starr (Dandy) and Dorothy Linton (Grammie) Green, maternal grandparents Barney and Mertice Forquer and brother in-law Dale Lee Crummitt.
Charles will be remembered for the fun times with his cousin David Jay Stone and his many friends.
Charles enjoyed riding dirt bikes and 4-wheeler with his son, camping and floating down the Potomac River. He will be remembered for his infectious smile and laugh. He was one that would give his shirt off his back and the last dollar in his pocket to someone in need.
