Mr. Charles Bernard Delph Jr.'s Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Bernard Delph, Jr., who left us on July 15th, 2024, at the age of 74. Born on October 8th, 1949, in Baltimore, MD. Charles led a life marked by service, love, and devotion to his family and country.
Charles proudly served his nation with honor, completing two tours in Vietnam. His bravery and dedication were a testament to his character, and he carried the spirit of a true patriot throughout his life.
Preceded in death by his beloved mother Mary, his father Charles Sr., his brother Ronald Lee, sister Patricia Ann, and his two favorite wives, Maria and Linda, Charles now joins them in eternal peace.
Charles leaves behind a legacy of love through his six children: Charles, Robert, Sandra, Crystal, Ginger, and Karen. His memory will also be treasured by his siblings Betty, Dottie, and Shirley; 26 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him as Charlie.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 21st from 4-6 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home at 9501 B Catoctin Mountain Hwy. in Frederick where services will begin at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 22nd. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens; floral tributes are welcome.
