Cathleen "Cathy" Susan Sheridan's Obituary
Obituary
Cathleen "Cathy" Susan Sheridan, 61, of Frederick, Maryland, formerly of Wilmington, North Carolina, passed on February 19th, 2018. She was born on July 7, 1956 to Robert and the late Nancy (McCue) Sheridan, she was the oldest of seven children. Cathy spent her early career in the corporate world but switched careers to become a hairdresser, often declaring it "the best decision I ever made". This provided her with the perfect audience for her real gift, providing sage advice and loving friendship to those who needed it. She was also a writer, musician, a lover of good food, good people and telling the truth. In addition to her mother, who she loved dearly and provided care for in her final months, she was predeceased by her brothers, Michael and Patrick. In addition to her father Robert of South Carolina, Cathy is survived by her daughter Linda of Frederick, siblings; Kevin of Frederick, Mark of Pennsylvania, Colleen of Florida and Timothy of South Carolina. In Frederick she also leaves behind sister-in-law Adrienne, nieces Michelle and Christine and their children Logan, Lilliana and Elias, Emilia, respectively. She had 11 other nieces and nephews across the country, and dozens of friends whose lives she impacted greatly. Though she only lived in Frederick for a little over a year, it did not take her long to make many friends who she considered family.
