Carol Day's Obituary
Obituary
Carol was a free spirit, fun loving, easy going, and was never too serious. She truly was a kid at heart. Always willing to do just about anything & laughed at herself while doing it. She loved music, and dancing. She was very hip, current and always stylish, taking great pride in her appearance. She was very personable & loved being around people, a characteristic that served her well in her work. Carol worked at Pioneer Technology for 17 years working her way up from front desk receptionist to the Human Resource Director. In her later years she worked at the Macy's perfume counter. She was a natural at helping anyone pick the right scent for their loved one. Carol loved being a grandmother. She never hesitated to get down on the floor & play with her grandchildren. She loved Halloween & dressing up, riding on the back of a motorcycle, and seeing air shows by the Blue Angels. She watched a lot of Life Time & Hallmark movies, she couldn't resist a good love story. Carol was a sun worshiper, loved the beach & always said she was going to move to Florida to sell pizza squares. She is survived by her sister, Joanne Hagan & her husband Roger. Her 3 children; Teresa Wood, Sherie Anderson, and Tricia Bowers & husband Dave; Grandchildren; David Jr, Justin and Darren Anderson, and Sofia and Olivia Bowers; 5 great grandchildren and the father of her children, Jim Wood. And many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her younger sister, Pat Wanish.
