Mrs. Brenda Lee Harper, 64, of Frederick, passed away on May 11, 2015. She was the loving wife of the late Sammy Jerome Harper. Born in Frederick, MD on June 15, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Lenard Burton Cregger, Sr. and Mary Jane Fogle-Cregger. Brenda worked for the Frederick County Public School System for over 30 years. She loved spending her free time with her family and friends. Her biggest satisfaction came from following her children and grandchildren through their sporting events. Her last days were spent at home with family and her dog Elsa. She is survived by her children; James Recardo (Ricky) Cregger and wife Sherri of Frederick, Suzanne Jean (Suzi) and significant other, Tiny Goines of Frederick. Grandchildren; Randi Dollar and Zoee Cregger of Frederick. Siblings; Lenard (Lennie) Burton Cregger, Jr. and wife Faith of Oxford, NC., Jeannie Hilderbrand and husband Sonny of Hagerstown, and Troy Dwayne Cregger, Sr. and wife Stacy of Fairfield, PA. Nieces and Nephews; Brandon Cregger and wife Kristi, Ashley Kundrat, Nikki Hilderbrand, Tom Hilderbrand and wife Amy, Troy (TJ) Cregger, Jr. and wife Kelsey, Kayla Cregger and fiancAC. Brandon Myers. Special friends; Cheri Rhoderick, Bubby Thomas, Alyce Luck, Judy Thompson, Dr. Brenda Brown, Min Ricard and all her coworkers and friends at FCPS. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 20th from 5-7 pm at the Chapel Mausoleum at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway, Frederick, MD where a funeral service will be held beginning at 6:30 pm with Pastor Tim May officiating.
