Brandon Eugene Rice's Obituary
Brandon Eugene Rice, 37, of Hagerstown, Maryland was born on August 5, 1986, and passed away on June 30, 2024. He was the beloved son of Stacy Smith and Robert Rice. Brandon is survived by his parents, adoring fiancée, Emily Cross, and a baby daughter to arrive in December.
He spent most of his lifetime working in the restaurant and hospitality industry in many different capacities, where he was known for his culinary skills and warm personality. Brandon was a gifted artist, who enjoyed drawing and painting, spending time with his soulmate Emily, who was brought back into his life in 2022, and expressing his love for others through the giving of heartfelt gifts.
Truly, his most outstanding attribute was his heart. And to those who knew him, he was a kind and loving person whose generosity knew no bounds. In his final act of kindness, he saved five lives through the donation of six of his organs.
Brandon will be remembered for his quiet and introspective nature and remarkable ability to find love and hope even in the darkest times. His loving spirit and kindness have left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Assembly of God, Maugansville, Maryland. The family kindly requests donations to Donate Life Maryland in Brandon's memory.
