Obituary
Mr. Bonner Oree Casey, entered rest on March 1, 2016. Affectionately known as "Oree" and "Casey," he was the son of the late Landon and Helen Pearson Casey. He was a native of Spartanburg County and attended the Old Riverside School. He was married to the late Ruth Rice Casey and to this union there were four children reared in the home in Washington, DC. After locating to Gaithersburg, MD., he met and married the late Etta Diggs Casey. He was a member of Sugar Loaf Mountain Christian Church. Oree was employed with Kettler Brothers from which he retired after 40 years of service. Left to cherish fond memories are his children; Dianne McCree of Temple Hill, MD, Judy Casey of Fort Worth, TX, Chives Casey and Charles(Debra) Casey, both of Upper Marlboro, MD., one brother, Lewis(Carol) Casey of Roebuck, SC; step-children Joe Womack, Rocky Mount, NC, Ruth A. White, Paul A. Diggs(Donna) and Myron L. Diggs, all of Frederick, MD., Calvin M. Diggs(Phyllis) and Monte L. Diggs(Marie), both of Walkersville, MD and Kathleen R. Howard of Gaithersburg, MD. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 9th from 12:00 - 1:00 PM at Resthaven Historical Chapel, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway, Frederick where a funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memory I. Arrangements are with Resthaven Funeral Services, Skkot Cody, P.A.
