Mrs. Betty Katherine Reimel, 90, of Middletown, MD. went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 13, 2018. She was the wife of the late Glenn L. Reimel, who died on February 11, 2011. Born in Pennsylvania on April 15, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Samuel W. Ladner and Grace M. Miller. Betty was a homemaker most of her life and she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a devout Christian, loved the Lord and was a member of the Family Worship Center Church of God, Boonsboro. Surviving are her three children, Glenn B. Reimel and wife Janie, of Berkeley Springs, WV, Connie L. Reimel, of Hagerstown and Tennie H. Hamilton and husband David, of Frederick, eight grandchildren, Susan Campbell, Michelle Santana, Sarah Ruppenthal, Amy Kidrick, Shannon Oranczak, Michael Wolfe, Sr., Jessica Ryan and Steven Wolfe, eight great grandchildren, Michael Reimel, Madison Oranczak, Mykenzy Wolfe, Michael Wolfe, Jr., Malachi Wolfe, Mykayla Wolfe, Briley Ryan and Kaylin Ryan. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Aaron Wolfe and brother John Ladner. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11 a.m., at the Boonsboro Family Worship Center Church of God, 7605 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Pastor Jack Payne, will officiate. Interment will be at 3 p.m., in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway, Frederick, MD 21701. Arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick, MD.
