Ms. Betty Osborn Folcomer's Obituary
Betty Osborn Folcomer passed away on September 9, 2024 after a very short illness. Betty was born in Prince, West Virginia on April 23, 1940. She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Beckley, West Virginia. Upon graduation from high school, she moved to Washington, D.C. to begin a career with the Department of the Navy as a stenographer. She was the Office Manager for Rentals Unlimited for more than 30 years in their Rockville and Clarksburg, Maryland locations.
She loved reading books of all kinds, and she was very passionate about the Baltimore Orioles. Betty was a very active volunteer in the UVA Community Health Auxiliary, working in the Pharmacy department.
She was the loving mother of Larry Winfield (Laura) and daughter Debbie Winfield. She had three grandchildren, Vitaliy Winfield and Andrew and Sarah Winfield.
She is survived by her sister, Martha Keys (William) of Gainesville, Virginia. She is preceded in death by her parents Mae and John Osborn, her sister Shirley Bryant, and her brothers Keith Osborn and Stanley Osborn.
