Audrey Puglisi's Obituary
Obituary
Audrey Puglisi "Nanny", age 92, of Frederick, MD passed away peacefully on March 27, 2018. She was the loving wife of the late Angelo Puglisi for 70 years. Born July 11, 1925 she was the devoted daughter of the late Otto and Estella Codori Hagen. Audrey was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was very proud of her entire family. She loved to cook and entertain, especially Sunday and holiday meals which featured her amazing Italian dishes. Audrey's favorite holiday was Christmas. She loved making holidays special for her family and taught them to carry on traditions with their own children. She was a true fashionista who took great pride in her appearance, loving Boscov's and QVC. She enjoyed her job as a produce clerk for A & P Grocery and was known as a "social butterfly". She loved to talk with everyone she encountered, a trait she carried throughout her life. In her spare time, Audrey loved arts and crafts, especially painting ceramics, crocheting, and going to the beach (where she met Angelo all those years ago). She is survived by her daughters; Patricia Puglisi, Diana Brown (Ken), and Deborah Staniford (Mark). Granddaughters; Angie, Diana, Michele (Kreg), Christine (Curtis), Nicole (Kelley), and Kathryn (Micah). 16 great-grandchildren, many loving nieces and friends.
