Arthur Reed Besemer's Obituary
Arthur Reed Besemer passed away at age 95 in Frederick Md, on August 5th, 2025.
Art was born in Elmira, NY on May 2nd, 1930. In his youth he enjoyed ice skating & skiing.
He joined the U.S. Navy in 1947, then retiring in 1967 as a Navy Chief. Art then went on to become a salesperson for Frederick Trading Co., retiring in 1996. He had a passion for travel, as he went to over 40 countries. Living in Puerto Rico, Japan & The Philippines.
Arthur will be remembered for his story telling & laughter. Arthur is survived by children, Arthur Besemer ll (Missy), Dawn Mason (Donnie), Bruce Baumgardner (Heather), Grandchildren, Dustin Besemer (Danielle), Danielle Kline (James), Greg Baumgardner, 4- great grandchildren & step children Michael, Frank & Donna. He was preceded in death by wife Inez Besemer & late wife Catherine Besemer.
