Arlene Mae Beard's Obituary
Arlene Mae Beard, age 78, passed peacefully at home on May 4, 2023.
Born May 20, 1944, in Thurmont, Maryland. Daughter of the late Katherine and William Peters. Arlene worked at Claire Frock Co., until its closing. She then became a School Bus Aide with Frederick County Public School until retirement in 2012. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She enjoyed keeping her flowers beautiful in her many flower beds.
Arlene is survived by her loving children, Pam Bowers (Bobby), Mike Beard (Kim), Wendy Hardman (Jeff) and Karen Ruby, 2 brothers;4 sisters and her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Arlene was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Luther V. Beard Jr and her daughter, Donna J Bailey.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023, from 10 am to 12 pm with a service beginning at 12pm at Resthaven Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens..
