Angeline (Angel) Andonia Lawson's Obituary
Obituary
Angeline (Angel) Andonia Lawson, 97, received her authentic angel wings on November 22, 2017; her final days were spent surrounded by family. She was the loving wife of the late Frank R. Lawson for over 65 years. She was born in Bartonsville, Maryland in 1920, the devoted daughter of the late Rocco (Pop) and Lillie (Mom) Guariglia Sr. She loved reading, gardening, holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her. Her generous heart filled her home with love, fun, family and friends, including belief that there was always room for one more. Her brilliant smile allowed her to make everything from daily events to a story told to grandchildren a lesson of life. She leaves all her children and grandchildren knowing that they were truly loved. Angel is survived by her children, Lela Gravatt (Edward), Frances Grossnickle (Robert), Michael Lawson (Kathleen), Pamela Stup, Hondo David Lawson, and siblings Rosie Bell and Rocco Guariglia Jr. "MamMaw" will be greatly missed by her 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two children, Frank Lawson, Jr., and Elsie Elizabeth Thompson; three grandsons, Lewis (Tony) Thompson, Jr., Larry Thompson and Jamie Anderson. Funeral services are private. To sign the online guestbook and leave condolences go to www.resthaven.us.
