Obituary
Alicia Hope Nave, 34, of Frederick, Maryland, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at her home in Frederick, MD. Born on June 14, 1983, in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of Nevin "Pete" W. and D. Hope (Whipp) Troxell. She graduated from Frederick High School in 2001, Frederick. She received Associates of Arts Degree in Business from the University of Phoenix in 2008. She work previously at SAIC-Frederick, Inc./Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc, Fort Detrick, Frederick. She loved her girls with all her heart. Her favorite football team was Dallas Cowboys. She loved being with the family and doing family events and she also loved the beach. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughters, Ashlyn and Madyson Gussio; one brother, Jeremy Wayne Troxell and wife, Becky, of Frederick; grandfather, Arthur Baugher, Sr. of Frederick; several aunts, uncles, a niece, a nephew and many cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Matthew L. Nave on August 22, 2017; maternal grandparents, Harvey Whipp, Jr. and Betty D. Baugher; paternal grandparents, Eloise and Wilson Troxell, Sr.; and her great-grandmother, Naomi B. "Grams" Myers. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD. A celebration of Alicia's life journey will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 31st at the funeral home with Rev. Michael D. Garland officiating. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick. Expressions of sympathy may be offered to the family at StaufferFuneralHome.com.
