Mrs. Mary Lou Brown passed away on September 9, 2020 at home in Valdosta, Georgia, surrounded by family. She was the wife of the late Robert Milton Brown.
Born May 8, 1943, Mary was the daughter of the late Robert H. and Barbara (Weisse) Brown.
In addition to her husband and her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Pamela Tracey Lee, her sister, Carol Brown, and her brother, Robert Brown.
She is survived by six children, Robert E. Lee III (Jeannie) of Mt. Airy, MD, Mary M. (Lee) Morton (Richard) of Quitman, GA, Joseph H. Lee (Patti) of Smithsburg, MD, David V. Lee, Sr. (Felice) of Lutz, FL, Ronald A. Soulant, Jr. of Valdosta, GA, and Elizabeth P. Morris (David) of Jefferson, MD.
Mary is also survived by her sister, Kathy (Brown) Sarno (Pat) of Egg Harbor, NJ; grandchildren, Jennifer (Stream) Morton, Kelli (Lee) Fulton (Dave), Mary (Lee) Facemire (Curtis), Eric Morton (Tasha), Robert E. Lee IV, Dyanna (Lee) Alsobrook (Aaron), David Lee, Jr., Angela (Lee) Lorenzen (Chris), Chelsea (Stull) Davis (Phillip), Joseph Young (Christine), Storm Young (Diamond), Rain (Morris) Scheining, Raven (Morris) Scheining, Jake Lee, and Maddalyn Soulant; 21 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, and numerous step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mary will also be greatly missed by her life-long friend, Carol Buzzwell and her companion Fred Foster, and her cousin, Barbara Eimers.
Visitation will take place on Friday, September 18th from 1 – 2 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home & Community Center, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Hwy. in Frederick, where a funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Pastor Mike Yoho of First Baptist Church of Green Valley will officiate. Pallbearers will be Robert Lee III, Joseph Lee, David Lee, Robert Lee IV, Joseph Young, Curtis Facemire, David Fulton, and Storm Young.
Mom, you will always be a part of us as we will always be a part of you. We will carry you within our hearts forever. The tears we are shedding are for so Everyday you will have a kiss of us the remembrance of the good & bad, Hope and Joy, but the endless amount of love. As we will always grieve for you, we also know that you are no longer in pain. That you have been reborn as a beautiful, carefree young woman you have always been in your heart. We take solace in the fact that we will someday meet. We will not say Good-Bye for Good-Bye is forever. Till we see you again Solong our beautiful Mother. You will forever be our sunshine.
